Euthanasia (Do humans have the right to end their lives if terminally ill?)
As a very moral person I believe that every human has the right to end their lives if terminally ill. This is because if they are living in a suffering state and to end their life would be a way of reaching a better life. Every person deserves to be happy, if being happy means to end their life that’s morally good. As a professional in virtue ethics, I believe in the saying "Do unto others as you would be done by." I would not like to be bedridden and unable to do anything that makes me happy because of my illness. So I would end my life. This gives me the right to be happy and help the people that surround me not to suffer by having me with the terminally illness and having to take care of me while I’m going through this horrible times. This a very moral decision, I believe its immoral to have a person in a dying mode and just being there, waiting for the moment of their death to come and take them away. After all it’s your life, so you have the choice to decide whether you want to live in suffer or die and getting to a better life in happiness. I see death as a way of escaping to a better life. I think that having the option to end their lives and dying is an important choice to be offered in the rare situations where doctors are unable to control unbearable symptoms.

I do agree because I considered that people shouldn´t suffer that way, also it´s ok only when people have a terminal situation. However, people can´t abuse of this situation because we don´t have the right to take our life since only God can decide when we die.
ReplyDeleteI finally agree with somebody. I as a Hedonist believe in ending the life if oneself will achieve a point of higher happiness. The solution is not living in pain or keep living in it, the solution is to reach a point of pleasure or happiness in which you will not have and pain or suffer, none the least, i do think in Euthanasia.
