WAR? how about peace and love !

War is it ever ethical?
I was declared a saint by the Roman Catholic Church and I believed there is many other ways to establish peace that doesn’t involve war. We ask ourselves daily how should we act, I think every human act according to some good and their ultimate goal is to reach their highest good that is happiness. Disputes should be settled peacefully and humans should be able to use their capacity to settle dispute or arguments without violence but also a think war is not always sinful even tough war violates people’s right to live free of harm and respect for a war to be considered just it must me the ‘’just war theory’’ were the conditions are that a war must be fought only for a just cause many reasons like revenge, power and rebellion are not considered just , also right intention that is to obtain peace, there has to be a proper authority, must be proportional between the two extremes and discrimination only the ones at war should be attacked the combatants any other must be protected from harm. Those who engaged war are endangered by our Lord with punishment. If the man who fights accepts their pay afterward I don’t forbid soldiering."True religion looks upon as peaceful those wars that are waged not for motives of aggrandizement, or cruelty, but with the object of securing peace, of punishing evil-doers, and of uplifting the good." Many warlike fights are not forbidden if they seek for peace. Peace is the work of justice indirectly; justice helps remove all obstacles of peace but its love and charity that cause peace at the end.

  1. yes, i am totally in favor of this philosophy. Peace and Love is what our society now in days need.My philosophy is based on happiness and pleasure avoiding pain. Peace and love brings pleasure and happiness but war brings up pain. I prefer peace and love, love and peace.
