Do humans have the right to end their lives if terminally ill? Well, I, Jean Paul Sartre believe that humans do have the right to end with their lives if they are terminally ill. People are born free and have the right to make their own rational decisions. Humans are given a life, and they own it. Therefore, they can decide whether or not to end with their lives if terminally ill. Euthanasia is not morally incorrect; it is a decision that depends totally in the individual. Euthanasia is not killing a person literally, it is a decision made by the individual. There is no sense of living in a way that you don’t enjoy your life, so why bother and still live? Life is all about enjoying it and giving pleasures to yourself, but when you are terminally ill in a coma, stuck in a bed there is nothing else you can do but wait for your death. I believe that terminally ill people that cannot enjoy their lives due to a big sickness they have, can totally decide to end with their lives and have the doctors unplug the cord and let them die peacefully. In my opinion, being there stuck in a bed without enjoying your life and waiting to die is not correct. For me, that is torturing the patient because they have no liberty or freedom to do what they want or like. Terminally ill people not enjoying their life can take the decision to end with it, and it is ethical. Euthanasia is ethical only when the patient has complete consensus and agrees on ending with their lives. Euthanasia is a more personal decision, and if it is taken by the person it is totally right and ethical.

as a well known catholic saint i considered that the only reason a person should be killed is when they have done something really bad, we should condone killing someone just because they suffer a terminally illness. Euthanasia is a form of suicide and that is not permissible in the Catholic religion because you take your own life when it was granted to you to live it to the fullest
