IS ETHIC IMPORTANT
I can start this dilemma by asking, what is ethic? Ethics, to put it in simple terms is the study of morality. Okay, so what is morality? This question has been debated by many philosophers over the last centuries, and they have arrived to a formal answer. Morality is the perception us human have of what is wrong and what is right. As a postmodernism and under the philosophy of Nietzsche of “I”, I believed that ethics is an invaluable characteristic that all human beings should possess. Nietzsche’s “I” arrived to the conclusion that act or behave according to their belief and not what somebody else tells them to do. People are responsible for the consequences of their actions; the self motivation is what brings more benefit to one self. People can say it can be compare to egoism, although they’re some differences. So then, if people act according to their beliefs, why then should they behave in an ethical way? Post Modernism, is simply the summary of all the philosophies and philosophers that existed during the XX and XXI century. During this time, it had been crucial for the survival of human being that people coexisted in societies; today known as nations. It is imperative that people behave in an ethical way because it will make life simpler for them to coexist in a society. People belief’s is to belong in a society where they can participate, have a role. If ethics allow them to achieve this goal, then ethics is crucial; to all humans.

ReplyDeleteFirstly, I would like to make note of many grammatical errors in your post. Since this isn't my job.. I'll just ignore them.
ReplyDeleteAs an existentialist, I believe that you must act the way you are. I agree that as a post-modernist philosopher, you were deceived by the large quantities of deaths and injuries in war, but you must agree with me that existentialism is the new 'law'. Acting the way you are could possibly take us to a whole new world of peace and tranquility.
