no room for a soulless baby

When is abortion ethical?
Ethical issues like abortion is widely debated around the world, I would regard as abortion ethical in some cases. As a devoted catholic religion follower I considered that abortion is a grave sin against marriage and murder because it prevents the living of the next generation of human nature but the sin in the action of abortion is not homicide only if the fetus was already developed to a human being. Abortion is not murder because the soul is not yet destroyed. The women’s womb and the semen of the man are still considered to be non living things. There are many other exceptions as to when abortion is not considered murder like if the mother’s life were in danger and the baby’s life is sacrifice for the mother it is permissible because they no mean no harm just to protect an already human being to conserve their life or self defense. When someone want to have an abortion they have to think about if the soul was already created, that is only after 40 days of being procreated and after that if they have an abortion it should be called murder. We can apply the doctrine of double effect when questioning whether is ethical wanting to cause harm or death of a human being, if it is promoting some good at the end. The moral principles of the action is its intention , if they have no intention to kill for evil doing just to protect and look for common good then go on with the abortion

  1. I partially agree with Irene. I, as Ayn Rand, think that the mother of the child has the right to decide what she wants to do with her body. Nobody can tell her what she can do with it.
