Abortion-PostModernism-Fausto
Before starting, we must consider why abortion is an issue in current debates. Ethics is the study of morality, what is right and what is wrong. Abortion is basically ending the life of a human being who only sin was to be created. In our current society, debates are taking place in order to legalize murder. Postmodernism is a broad and complex subject that withholds a lot of philosophers and philosophy; for the issue of abortion I will stand toward a position base on the idea of “I” of Friedrich Nietzsche. As Friedrich Nietzsche, my arguments support the idea that god doesn’t exist, so my opinions are not base on the fact that god supports abortion or not, is base on the fact that depends on the person that has to make the decision. The morality in the decision is not base on society; it is base on the morality of the person. Being this the case, there can be two possible scenarios for this issue. If the person cares for the life of the human being they carried, she is not afraid to face the future (working in order to support the child) then this person will avoid abortion claiming that it is wrong. But if the person only cares for herself, and would do anything to secure a prosper future, and then this person would decided to have an abortion and end any disruption in their life. As a postmodernism, it results difficult to stand in one position alone, it all depends on the person.

I think that it shouldn´t depend on the morality of the person because if they were given the chance to live, why would they deny the opportunity to others.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Fausto. As Ayn Rand I think that the decision is up to the mother. No one else has control over the body of the mother than herself.
